Educational Topic: Fraud Awareness

This Fraud Awareness presentation is an opportunity to gain a good basic understanding of what to look for when thinking fraud.  It is easy to understand and may very well be applicable to helping you to better understand your clients’ problems/issues.

The non-fraud specialist will benefit from a solid understanding of the points contained in the power point presentation.  Some foundational understandings, examples of frauds, how to protect yourself/your client and what to look for are offered for your professional enrichment.

Speaker: John Everett

John Everett is a licensed private investigator, as well as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).

John served for more than 33 years as a Special Agent with the Criminal Investigation Division of the Internal Revenue Service where he conducted complex financial investigations After Federal service, he worked with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, providing financial investigative expertise in a sensitive investigation involving national security.

John was deployed twice to Iraq as a Law Enforcement Professional (LEP) embedded with the XVIII Airborne Corps and with Special Operations Command [5th SFG] respectively. This concept involves partnering experienced civilian criminal investigators with military offensive operations.
